ESPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAM
Maive Arndt is a Music Therapist, with over 25 years of teaching experience. She graduated from two Brazilian University “Belas Artes” and "FAP". She also had two Music schools in Brazil (Espaço Musical & Bethoven House ).
Maive coach music educators all over the world, both in person and through her online platform- Musicandflix, currently with more then 300 professionals.
Then she moved to the US and started a new journey by opening in August of 2017- House of Music PSL, enriching our community through music, arts and other languages.
Besides being a Music therapist , Maive is specialized in early childhood Music Education and Piano lessons.
Maive speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English and she is able to teach in all three languages.
Bruno’s story with music began very early in his life, growing up in a musical environment.
For many years he studied Guitar and Drums with very well known musicians in Brazil accomplishing high level skill knowledge technical courses for both the instruments.
Bruno is a very well rounded instructor, teaches drums, guitar, bass, ukulele, and music production.
Styles: Rock, Reggae, Pop, Soul, Latin.
Bruno speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English and he is able to teach in all three languages.
Mayra graduated from Indian River State College with her Associates in Arts Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She has been tutoring for over 8 years and has a great experience specially in mathematics. Mayra speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish (she lived in Colombia for 3 years).
Maria graduated from Indian River State College with her associate degree in Performing Arts and she is currently going for her Psychology Bachelors Degree at University of Central Florida. Maria is creative and very dedicated to her students and her music career. Maria is the manager here at House of Music PSL and she also teaches a variety of classes including: sensory class for babies and toddlers, drama class, voice class, Portuguese class & arts and crafts class. Maria believes that the best way to grow is to find your unique way to express yourself and enjoy the process. Maria speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Amanda graduated from Indian River State College, has over 5 years of experience teaching piano and voice lessons.
Amanda has always been involved with the artistic world, starting at the age of 9 she never stopped dancing and singing. She is currently the music director at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Amanda teaches Piano and Voice lessons here at House of Music.
Eduardo Santiago studied painting in Puerto Rico’s Inter-American University, The School of Visual Arts in NY, and the Art Students League of NY.
He was recently awarded 1st place in the “50 Best Artist’s of the Treasure Coast” art show at the Loft Gallery in Ft. Pierce, FL in April of 2015.
He teaches PAINTING & DRAWING TECHNIQUES for ALL ages.
Eduardo is fluent in Spanish and English and he is able to teach in both languages.
Emanuel has played piano for about 10 years and has been involved with worship/music, piano and voice projects for about 5 years. Nowadays, Emanuel plays for Grace Family Church and the Grove Church in Port Saint Lucie, where he has been acquiring teaching experience.
Emanuel graduated with his Associate’s Degree of Arts at Indian River State Collage and he is currently finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics at University of Central Florida.
Emanuel has written/composed songs for short films and Christian conferences since 2018. He loves to encourage creativity in his students, while teaching them the fundamentals to vocals and piano. Emanuel is Bilingual and he is able to teach students in English and Spanish.
Rodrigo is skilled in piano, having played for over 10 years, and was a student under Maive Arndt for most of his piano learning. Rodrigo believes music is an excellent way to enhance a child’s talents and development and is dedicated to teaching his students. At House of Music, Rodrigo teaches piano lessons and offers tutoring sessions. Rodrigo speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Gary "doc" Holloway started learning saxophone at age 11 and piano at age 15. He attended Rio Grande College where he studied music and fine arts. He learned to teach multiple musical instruments and was certified by the Ohio board of education to teach music k-12th grades. He was the band director at scolerarts school. k-12 from whence he retired in 2009. He has conducted various community bands and church band ensembles over a fifty year span starting at his own church at age 15. Gary was a professional saxophone player for paradise cruise line and he was featured with band members from the conan O'brian show. He was hired as a judge for the high school jazz band competition at ohio state university. Gary teaches piano, wind instruments and Guitar here at House of Music PSL.
Nilsa Pozo is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, Vocalist and Educator. Born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Nilsa has a unique combination of classroom teaching, artistic performance and community service experience. She holds a degree in Music Therapy from Southern Methodist University. Her journey has led her to serve others through Music Therapy. She currently works with older adults, individuals in hospice care and their families, and individuals with special needs.
Nilsa speaks English, Spanish and French and she is able to teach in all 3 languages.
Krystle, originally from Corpus Christi,Tx. has been playing violin for over 23 years. She started playing classical and by the age of 14 began performing in professional mariachi bands of South Texas. She performed with the high caliper musicians of Mariachi Clasico, Mariachi Las Alteñas and the official mariachi of the San Antonio Spurs basketball team: Mariachi Mujer Internacional de los Spurs. Her accomplishments in mariachi match her classical accomplishments as she performed with orchestras like the Brazos Valley Orchestra and the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra. She also performed as a soloist for the 2012 University of San Antonio Orchestra “Tour of Italy” and played in St. Mark's Basilica (where Vivaldi held residency as the music director at the turn of the 18th century). Today, you can find Krystle performing live with the Ocean String Quartet of Vero Beach, on YouTube with Mariachi Entertainment System and on her own channel, playing a seven-string electric viper violin under the alias: Lotus Blossom. She happily resides with her loving husband, Jesus, two dogs: Honey and Minnie and her black cat: Bruce who sometimes comes out in her YouTube videos. Kristle teaches Violin here at House of Music PSL.

Treasure Coast families, House of Music PSL is now offering a brand new SENSORY PLAY CLASS, a time dedicated just for your little ones.

WHAT IS SENSORY PLAY?
Sensory play includes any activity that stimulates a young child's senses of touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing, as well as anything which engages movement and balance.
WHY SENSORY PLAY?
It helps to build nerve connections in the brain.
It encourages the development of motor skills.
It supports language development
It encourages ‘scientific thinking’ and problem solving.
It can involve mindful activities which are beneficial for all children.
WHAT ARE THE ACTIVITIES?
Some activities that we will be doing during our sensory play sessions include: Sensory bins, foam (especially taste safe foam), water play, messy play, and more.
